Information Sent Directly
If a visitor uses a sponsored search widget, the entry is sent to the outside provider operating that tool. Kay County Warrant Records does not control that provider's storage, retention, matching, or disclosure practices. Review the provider's policy before entering a name, date of birth, case number, or other sensitive detail.
If a visitor sends an email, the message and reply may be retained as needed to handle the communication. We do not use an email to create a warrant record or consumer report.

Kay County Warrant Records does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of personal warrant information. The pages explain how official records are divided among the Kay County Court Clerk, sheriff, detention facility, municipal courts, and specialized agencies. A visitor who needs a current answer must ask the office that holds the case.
Outside Search Providers
Sponsored search boxes are operated by third parties. Information entered into them is governed by the partner's policy, not this policy. The provider controls its own data retention, sharing, pricing, and results. Do not assume that a sponsored result is an official court or sheriff record.
Links to Other Services
The site links to OSCN, ODCR, Oklahoma courts, county offices, municipal portals, state agencies, federal sources, and other providers. When a visitor follows a link, the destination's privacy policy and terms apply. Review them before submitting personal information. Advertising partners may also use their own tracking systems outside this site.
Who May Receive Information
We do not sell personal data. Depending on the visitor's action, information may be processed by:

Security Limits
Reasonable safeguards are used for information under our control. No internet connection is completely secure, so absolute protection cannot be promised. A visitor should avoid sending unnecessary Social Security numbers, full birth dates, home addresses, or other sensitive details by email.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults handling their own or a family member's records. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a minor sent personal data, the request may be directed to the site's published contact route so the information can be reviewed and deleted when appropriate.
Visitor Choices
A visitor may ask what information is held in connection with a direct communication, request correction of an error in that communication, or ask for deletion when there is no legal reason to retain it. Browser settings can limit cookies. A provider operating a search widget must handle requests about data entered into that widget under the provider's own policy.
